Evaluation of efficiency

The Warehouse Excellence Study evaluates the efficiencies of the different parts of the distribution center. Material flows, input and the resulting costs are assessed by the standardized performance measurement system. The effort-result ratio is estimated within this process and a comparison with the data pool shows whether or not this ratio represents a good performance.

Evaluation of effectiveness

A benchmarking partner with similar requirements and greater efficiency is selected to evaluate effectiveness. Applied techniques, as well as the procedure organization of the benchmarking partner, offer starting-points for closing performance gaps. In this way, best practice solutions are identified.
